The Kendrick: A resident’s point of view

We recently chatted with one of our new residents Lori Berkowitz, to get her take on what it’s like to live at The Kendrick apartments in Needham, MA. Lori already had first-hand experience with Toll Brothers with a newly built home in 2016.
“I can’t say enough about Toll Brothers,” Berkowitz explained. She told us how she signed the lease sight unseen because she knew the quality and high standards Toll Brothers upholds. “They exceed every expectation across the board.”
With her experiences with Toll Brothers, she knew that everything the Kendrick offered would be the best there is in the area. She was not disappointed. “The interior design is just incredible. It’s fabulous and beautiful. State-of-the-art everything.”

“The three-story fitness center reminds me of a Four Seasons Hotel” Berkowitz said. “Definitely a five-star facility.” She also compared The Kendrick pool area and its cabanas to the resort atmosphere of a Four Seasons. Add to that a beautiful courtyard with fire pits, pet-friendly facilities, and roof deck and you have a community that offers amazing spaces to gather or chill out any time of the year in any weather.

When it comes to the apartments, the quality of finishes and materials only increases. Each apartment marries classic New England smarts with stylish, modern design with features including quartz countertops, gray shaker-style cabinets and quality plank flooring, as well as some thoughtful touches that you’ll appreciate, but not necessarily notice, like tankless water heaters.
“You feel like you’re being pampered,” Berkowitz added as she went on to describe the interior of her apartment with emphasis on the “very high-end finishes” in the apartments like custom wood-shelving in the closets.

The Kendrick offers a location that’s near enough to Boston to commute easily, but far enough outside the city to enjoy the natural world right outside your door. Plus, there’s an element of small-town living you can enjoy in Needham.
“I’m really happy in Needham,” Berkowitz stated. “Its proximity to great places like Wellesley and Newton, and it’s easy to get into Boston.”
